Rethink Community Opens Nashville Office to Advance Regional Growth and Deepen Local Partnerships

NASHVILLE, TENN., July 17th, 2025 – Rethink Community, the workforce housing development strategy within Rethink Capital Partners, has announced the opening of its Nashville office at Center 615 in East Nashville. The expansion underscores Rethink’s long-term commitment to Nashville and advances its focus on underinvested neighborhoods within growing metropolitan areas.

With a growing pipeline of local projects near employment centers, schools, healthcare, and recreation, the new office will serve as a regional hub for operations, development execution, and community engagement. Rethink’s place-based model combines proximity to anchor institutions with intentional community engagement to deliver projects that meet local needs and build lasting strategic partnerships.

“Nashville represents both a strategic growth market and a clear extension of our mission to deliver high-quality housing in areas of high demand and high potential,” said Michael Walden, Managing Partner at Rethink Community. “Establishing a presence on the ground enhances our ability to execute, partner locally, and scale long-term impact.”

Rethink Community’s Nashville portfolio includes three large-scale developments – City Vista, Broadmoor, and a third project to be announced later this year – designed to address the region’s urgent need for workforce housing. With an estimated 90,000 new housing units needed by 2034 according to a Nashville Planning Department Study, Rethink is positioned to deliver a balanced mix of for-sale and for-rent homes tailored to middle-income households priced out of market-rate housing but ineligible for traditional affordable programs.

The City Vista development, located on a 21-acre site in the Dickerson Pike corridor, is a multi-phase project featuring townhomes and multifamily rentals. The first phase of the project is nearing completion with additional announcements related to the site expected later this year.

The Broadmoor development, a 48-acre site in East Nashville, is expected to break ground this Fall as a mixed-use, mixed-income community. Plans for the site include for-sale townhomes and single-family workforce homes, multifamily active adult apartments, workforce multifamily housing, commercial and retail space, and community amenities such as a public park, community art and a greenway trail.

The opening of the Nashville office strengthens Rethink Community’s broader Southeast strategy, with additional projects under review in communities including Atlanta, Raleigh, and Charlotte.
