Platform Operations Associate (Marketing, Data & Innovation)

Location: Hybrid with office location in New York City or White Plains, NY

Salary: $65,000–$85,000

Rethink Capital Partners (“Rethink”) is an asset management firm and Registered Investment Advisor focused on socially conscious and impact-driven investing across real estate and venture capital. We are seeking a Platform Associate to manage and evolve our marketing, data, and technology functions—supporting business development, investor relations, and operational innovation.

The core responsibilities of this role are managing marketing related functions, with additional responsibilities that include data management, CRM optimization (using tools like Affinity), and AI tool discovery and integration. The ideal candidate is a creative communicator who is also detail-oriented, tech-curious, and eager to collaborate across teams.

You will report to the Associate Director of Investor Relations, collaborating with investment teams, marketing, operations, and firm leadership across strategies. This is a high-exposure role with opportunities for growth and impact.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Develop, design, and maintain marketing materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, leasing presentations, financial reporting, and impact reports
  • Manage digital content and updates on the website (WordPress) and social media platforms
  • Draft and pitch press releases, blog content, and stakeholder communications across Venture and Real Estate verticals
  • Oversee logistics and execution of investor events, summits, and stakeholder meetings
  • Coordinate newsletters, email marketing, and firmwide communications
  • Support Associate Director of Investor Relations with RFPs, DDQs, and ad-hoc materials
  • Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure compliant public-facing content

Data Management & CRM

  • Maintain and optimize firmwide CRM systems (including Affinity), ensuring high-quality data and alignment across business development and investor engagement workflows
  • Build and manage reports, lists, and tagging systems to support fundraising and relationship management
  • Establish systems and protocols for data capture, hygiene, and analytics that support cross-team collaboration

AI & Technology Integration

  • Research and evaluate emerging AI tools and platforms that can enhance internal productivity, investor engagement, and marketing capabilities
  • Pilot, recommend, and implement AI solutions (e.g., generative AI for content drafting, search, or research tools) in collaboration with investor relations, marketing, and investment teams
  • Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer, cybersecurity and risk teams, and business team to ensure compliant use of AI tools and platforms
  • Promote internal awareness and adoption of new technologies and tools

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, CRM/data management, or platform/operations roles
  • Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills; naturally curious and proactive in identifying opportunities and solving problems
  • Exceptional attention to detail across all content, data, and client-facing materials; committed to delivering high-quality, professional work
  • Proficiency with WordPress, Microsoft Office, and design tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Affinity or similar relationship management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to work three days a week in the New York City or White Plains office

Preferred:

  • Experience working with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, or other content/research-focused platforms)
  • Exposure to financial services or investment firms (venture capital, private equity, or real estate)
  • Comfort working across teams and stakeholders with varying technical proficiency
