Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate in Asset Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the oversight of a portfolio of medical office properties and outpatient facilities and play a pivotal role in overseeing the performance and strategic direction of that portfolio. The individual will have a demonstrated track record in the field, strong interpersonal, quantitative and writing skills, and a solid understanding of real estate fundamentals. The Senior Associate will work closely with the Asset Management team and collaborate with the entire RTH team to optimize property performance, execute business plans, and drive value creation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of properties, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to maximize asset value and returns.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive annual business plan for each portfolio asset, including repositioning strategies, leasing initiatives, and capital improvement projects.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including valuation, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, disposition and ROI assessments to drive decision-making and enhance property performance.
  • Review financial reports including of property, health system and key tenants, to monitor performance and achieve investment objectives.
  • Direct and monitor property management and leasing companies.
  • Interact, liaise and manage relationships with hospital executives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate property performance, strategies, and recommendations to senior management and investors.
  • Oversee capital expenditure and tenant fit out projects.
  • Conduct periodic site and market visits.
  • Stay abreast of market trends (real estate and healthcare), conduct market research, and provide insights to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within the portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in real estate asset management (healthcare real estate experience is a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CPM) is a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques and investment analysis.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful asset management strategies resulting in increased property performance and value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively interact with hospital executives, external partners, tenants and internal team.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in real estate analytics tools and software (e.g. ARGUS, Excel, Yardi and other MS Office suite programs).
  • Organized and detailed; able to handle concurrent projects and to work independently.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation, salary plus bonus. Salary range: $150,000 to $210,000, experience dependent.
